After you moved bunch of mailboxes between servers or databases, you may find users can’t logon to their mailboxes. You will see the Event ID 1022 logged in Application Logs.

Error: 1144
Solution: Update the Exchange “Recipient Update Service” and trigger the Active Directory replication between domain controllers and sites. OR simply wait for AD Replication and Exchange Recipient Updates to happen automatically on its course.
